There will be a Grade 8 Open House in January to highlight the academics, athletics, fine & performing arts, and technology which are offered at Greater Fort Erie Secondary School (more details to follow closer to the determined date).

Staff, students, and parents work together during November and December in determining each learner's pathway for high school, along with course selections from the compulsory and elective credit offerings.

During your child's Grade 9 year at Greater Fort Erie Secondary School in 2026/27, during the months of February and March, students will have completed their first semester and with on-going discussions and support through the Student Services Department, staff will assist them, with parent input, in completing their Intention Sheets for the courses they will be enrolled in at Greater Fort Erie Secondary School in September 2027.
