Why take courses in Technological Studies?
Technological Education courses provide students with opportunities to develop hands-on, transferable skills, while exploring various career sectors that exist in an ever-growing work world. Students complete projects to develop and apply practical and problem-solving skills using industry-standard tools, machines, and software. Tech courses prepare students for the workplace or further studies at the post-secondary level, including apprenticeship. Students may choose to enhance their Technological Education studies by completing an SHSM program and/or a Cooperative Education program.
