The community committee is pleased to report that the fundraising efforts for the new state-of-the-art Centre for the Arts has been very successful to date. Since launching our fundraising efforts last summer, our committee of dedicated volunteers has been very successful in raising over $350,000 with pending commitments and donations that will put us over the $500,000 mark in the near future.
An exciting event taking place on May 14th is the Hollywood North Party on the Patio. It will be held the Leisureplex here in the Town of Fort Erie, and it will feature numerous talent from FESS and RCBHS alumni, along with some amazing prizes and fun. Also, on June 25th there will be Movies in the Sugarbowl featuring the new Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens. Proceeds from both events will go toward the fundraising campaign for the new Centre for the Arts.
